NAVIGATING A CRAZY WORLD WITH GOD BY YOUR SIDE. It is something that is very critical for us as followers of Jesus to bring our focus upon. Our world seems to be always teetering on the brink. Fragile economies; Natural disasters; Political and Geo-political turmoil…and the ever present threat of Wars, Genocides, and Basic Hatred for someone or something. THERE IS NOTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN. The question is, How Will We As Individuals Handle It All ? The United States has always felt like a place that was just too far away for enemies and troubles to reach our shores….not so much any more. In fact, as mankind’s :”Technology” has advanced, no place in the world is “immune” from being impacted. Our personal lives are certainly not insulated from Choices made by others, and we are also impacted by the choices that We Make ! It is so easy to be distracted by all the things going on around us, which is why it is so Important To Put Your FOCUS AND TRUST IN THE HANDS OF JESUS:) When Jesus came to earth, our planet and mankind had been through numerous tumultuous events. Rejected from God’s perfect Home and Presence, WE began the journey into a very uncomfortable existence of SELF. History is full of the stories of Struggles,, Battles, Enslavement, Floods, Earthquakes…all centered on the sad effort to be…”RELEVANT ?” Jesus entered our midst in a time of Roman Tyranny and Brutality. People burdened with Taxation, Unjust rulers, and Corruption everywhere. Religious leaders living an Elitist Lifestyle while cruelly ruling over the populace and keeping them at “arms length” from GOD as their knowledge and understanding surely was greater than the “common man”. Into this world God sends His Son, to speak TRUTH and BRING HOPE to all…and yet, Mankind rejected Him once again. HOW INCREDIBLE IS IT THAT GOD HAD THE EXACT SOLUTION to overcome our arrogance and stupidity. HIS SON would DIE ON A CROSS…THAT WE MIGHT LIVE ! Jesus came as a Humble and Loving Friend to Us…not as a Wrathful Warrior. GOD KNOWS THAT OUR PROBLEMS ARE MUCH DEEPER THAN SIMPLY BEING SUBJECTED TO TYRANNY AND DECEIT. JESUS CAME TO HEAL OUR HEART AND SOULS…TO VANQUISH OUR SIN AT THE FOOT OF HIS CROSS.

DO NOT BE CONFORMED TO THE WORLD, BUT BE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWAL OF YOUR MIND, THAT BY TESTING YOU MAY DISCERN WHAT IS THE WILL OF GOD, WHAT IS GOOD AND ACCEPTABLE AND PERFECT. Romans 12:2

DO NOT LOVE THE WORLD OR THE THINGS IN THE WORLD. IF ANYONE LOVES THE WORLD, THE LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM. FOR ALL THAT IS IN THE WORLD- THE DESIRES OF THE FLESH AND THE DESIRES OF THE EYES AND PRIDE OF LIFE- IT IS NOT FROM THE FATHER, BUT IS FROM THE WORLD. 1 John 2:15-16

“FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD, THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON, THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. John 3:16

Self Reliance takes a lot of faith. Self purpose and planning will be a difficult path to navigate, because there are Always Unexpected Encounters around every turn in the path. Enemies may try to destroy you. Envy or Jealousy of “fiends” you thought had your back just might Disappear and Disappoint. Age will definitely teach us one true fact. NOTHING IS CERTAIN…EXCEPT THE LOVE AND GRACE OF GOD OUR CREATOR, FATHER, AND ALL POWERFUL KING. How fortunate are we to have JESUS as our Lord, Savior, and KING ! How amazing that we are “Filled” with the HOLY SPIRIT to guide us and keep us ON THE RIGHT PATH ! God’s Word is the best place to Begin and Lock In as your Foundation and Steady Stance as you journey through life. Constant communication in Prayer is essential to judging your purpose and path. Jesus goes before you, and HE knows your every step. GOD HAS A DESIGN AND A PLAN FOR OUR LIVES, AND ALSO THE FUTURE OF OUR WORLD. Our Future as those who believe in and follow Christ is Powerful and CERTAIN ! One only has to take a stroll through the Book Of Revelation to get a taste of what is coming some day. I COUNT IT ALL JOY THAT JESUS WILL BE COMING AGAIN ! I look forward to worshipping Him and Serving in His Kingdom. When I surrendered my life to Him, my old life was gone. WASHED CLEAN. WORTHY IN HIM AND HIS DEATH FOR ME. HIS BODY. HIS BLOOD…atonement for MY SIN. If you have given your life to Him, KNOW that you are Forgiven and Worthy IN HIM ! Strive your utmost to LOVE HIM AND OTHERS. Your efforts are bringing forth your treasure and place in HIS KINGDOM. NO SHAME. NO GUILT. REDEMPTION IN HIM ! Repentance, confession, all working toward becoming CONSECRATED IN HOLINESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS:) Our way to Navigate the crazy world we are in is to SEEK AND TRUST JESUS.

SET YOUR MINDS ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, NOT THINGS THAT ARE ON THE EARTH. Colossians 3:2

THE TIMES OF IGNORANCE GOD OVERLOOKED, BUT NOW HE COMMANDS OF ALL PEOPLE EVERYWHERE TO REPENT, BECAUSE HE HAS FIXED A DAY ON WHICH HE WILL JUDGE THE WORLD IN RIGHTEOUSNESS BY A MAN WHOM HE HAS APPOINTED, AND OF THIS HE HAS GIVEN ASSURANCE TO ALL BY RAISING HIM FROM THE DEAD. Acts 17: 30-31

THEREFORE, STAY AWAKE, FOR YOU DO NOT KNOW WHAT DAY YOUR LORD IS COMING. Matthew 24:42

Crazy World. Crazy Times. WE don’t have to be SHAKEN. WE don’t have to be AFRAID. God has PROMISED us Eternal Life In Jesus. It is past time for excuses and what if scenarios. JESUS is a simple CHOICE. JOY. HOPE. GRACE. CONFIDENCE. LOVE. It means SURRENDER TO HIM AND HIS WILL FOR YOUR LIFE…NOT YOURS. REAL TRUST. Striving for Holiness and Righteousness. Not perfect, but a “work in Progress. DO YOU FISH ? Jesus commands us to FISH FOR MEN ! Put your Faith in Him, and get busy fishing and LIVING:) Share the Gospel BOLDLY with everyone you meet, and remember you are giving them the Gift Of Life. The world will tell you that Following Jesus is a waste of time. The world will tell you that you and your life and feelings are all that matter…..as long as they align with the current Cultural Norms. As the craziness of the world swirls around you, just remember one thing. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR JESUS, FOR HE OVERCAME THE WORLD. IN HIM, SO CAN YOU !
