I AM BORN AGAIN...... A NEW CREATION IN CHRIST !
Born Again. A New Creation. For those who know Jesus, it is the true Gift Of Salvation and a doorway to Eternal Life. For the world it makes no sense. To the non follower of Christ, it is often laughed at and mocked. How can a person actually be “Re-born” ? What does a “New Creation” even mean ? God has put it on my Heart to bring the importance and truth in this statement to all who would consider it :) It first must start with a basic understanding of “Sin”. Sin is the thoughts and actions that we embrace as mankind that go “directly against” the ways and commandments of God. These things that take root in our minds, bodies, and our hearts; they separate us from God and His desires for us as His Creation. Jesus made it clear in His Words that sin moved beyond just mere action, but also was encountered in simple thoughts and desires. Sin has far deeper meaning and consequences than merely being “ Bad Behavior”. In God’s eyes, “The Wages Of Sin….Is truly Death !” No Relationship, no hope, no redemption, No Future. In this “sin state”, a person without the Gift Of Jesus is truly DEAD ! IF YOU ARE NOT A BELIEVER IN THE GOSPEL, YOU ARE TRULY IN A PLACE OF ETERNAL DEATH AND DESPAIR. There is no way to sugar coat what God’s Word directly states in multiple areas. The GOOD NEWS is that IN JESUS, YOU CAN BE ALIVE FOR ETERNITY WITH HIM IN HIS KINGDOM. The gravity of this TRUTH must be openly and boldly shared in love by those who abide in Jesus. WE ARE ALIVE IN HIM ! Our only future resigns in His Love For Us. To Embrace It, We Must Die To Ourselves And Be Reborn In Him. Take Our Sin, and acknowledge that He Died For Us. We Confess our transgressions and ask Him to take them from us, thereby HE takes on the Wrath of The Father that was meant for US. We must BELIEVE that he died and was Raised From The Dead that “We Also” might some day be raised up in His Power and Authority. REBORN. A NEW CREATION. OUR LIFE AND TRUST IS IN HIM, AND THAT IS WHAT WE BELIEVE AND FREELY CHOOSE.
FOR WHOEVER KNOWS THE RIGHT THING TO DO AND FAILS TO DO IT, FOR HIM IT IS SIN. James 4:17
AND HE SAID, “WHAT COMES OUT OF A PERSON IS WHAT DEFILES HIM. FOR FROM WITHIN, OUT OF THE HEART OF MAN, COME EVIL THOUGHTS, SEXUAL IMMORALITY, THEFT, MURDER, ADULTERY, COVETING, WICKEDNESS, DECEIT, SENSUALITY, ENVY, SLANDER, PRIDE, FOOLISHNESS. ALL THESE EVIL THINGS COME FROM WITHIN, AND THEY DEFILE A PERSON.” Mark 7: 20-23
FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. Romans 3:23
FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE FREE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD. Romans 6:23
BUT YOUR INIQUITIES HAVE MADE A SEPARATION BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR GOD, AND YOUR SINS HAVE HIDDEN HIS FACE FROM YOU SO THAT HE DOES NOT HEAR. Isaiah 59:2
God created the world to be a place where mankind would reside in perfect harmony, communication, and relationship with Him as Our Creator. Should it be a surprise that those who do not recognize the “original sin” of mankind would also deny Him as Creator and feel no Desire to See Him as real or important ? Talk about Arrogance and Foolishness. When one simply looks around at ALL GOD HAS CREATED, and the amazing beauty and splendor of the creatures, plants, gems, landscapes, and the many other wonders, to deny a creating Hand and Design is simply ridiculous. GOD IS REAL. HE CREATED YOU AND SO WANTS RELATIONSHIP ! Rejection of Him is truly an eternal mistake. In Christ, we are all given a chance to become A NEW CREATION ! It means we have a chance to be TRANSFORMED into the identity and purpose that God created each and every one of us to UNIQUELY BE :) Our new person begins by recognizing that our “old Self” is Gone. We are not defined by our Sin and Our Past, because we have given our old life to Jesus. In Him, our sins are forgiven and we are offered A Fresh Start. A new life and focus that begins with God’s ways and truths which will lead us to Seek Him and Follow the commandments and wisdom that we find in His Word ! Scripture is our guidebook to being REBORN. Finding fellowship with other Kingdom Minded Believers is the critical start to getting off the path of those who aren’t committed to A New Life, and will ultimately lead us astray. One of the saddest mistakes that people make is “blaming” God for the unfortunate things that happen to them, or rejecting God because things did not go according to their plan and wishes. WE ALL have a tendency to wnt to be In Charge, but the essential part of REBIRTH is giving God Control, and letting His Will Be Done in our lives. His LOVE will carry us through any and all challenges if we Seek Him and Trust Him !
IF THEN YOU HAVE BEEN RAISED WITH CHRIST, SEEK THE THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST IS, SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. SET YOUR MIND ON THINGS THAT ARE ABOVE, NOT ON THINGS THAT ARE ON THE EARTH. FOR YOU HAVE DIED, AND YOUR LIFE IS HIDDEN WITH CHRIST IN GOD. WHEN CHRIST, WHO IS YOUR LIFE APPEARS, THEN YOU WILL ALSO APPEAR WITH HIM IN GLORY. PUT TO DEATH THEREFORE WHAT IS EARTHLY IN YOU: SEXUAL IMMORALITY, IMPURITY, PASSION, EVIL DESIRE, AND COVETOUSNESS, WHICH IS IDOLATRY… Colossians 3:1-25
JESUS ANSWERED HIM, “TRULY, TRULY I SAY TO YOU, UNLESS ONE IS BORN AGAIN HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.’ John 3:3
The bottom line here is that TODAY is the day that you should be making a decision to Die to your old self, and be REBORN through Jesus Christ. It is His Love and His Truth that can make your life way more Complete and Meaningful. Walking with Jesus has changed me. Going beyond a simple belief into a heartfelt Change and Rebirth in Desires, Purpose, and Direction. My prayer is that Everyone would take a moment to Truly Seek God. WILL YOU TRY ? !
BUT IF WE WALK IN THE LIGHT, AS HE IS IN THE LIGHT, WE HAVE FELLOWSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER, AND THE BLOOD OF JESUS HIS SON CLEANSES US FROM ALL SIN. IF WE SAY WE HAVE NO SIN, WE DECIEVE OURSELVES, AND THE TRUTH IS NOT IN US. IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, HE IS FAITHFUL AND JUST TO FORGIVE US OUR SINS AND TO CLEANSE US FROM ALL UNRIGHTEOUSNESS. John 1:7-9
